Adriana Beukers is a Sydney based artist living and practicing on Dharawal Land. Her work is grounded in observation of the everyday.

When starting a new painting, Adriana aims not just to capture a likeness, but to tell a story. Ongoing themes of her practice consider the intimacy of shared environments, where conversations and exchanges evolve into rituals for connection and expansion. This theme is often captured in portraits, where her saturated paintings impart depth and meaning to fleeting moments.

 

​Adriana completed her Bachelor of Fine arts at UNSW Arts, Design and Architecture in 2022. She has since exhibited in group shows locally and co-curated for Presence exhibition at Clifton School of Arts in May 2026.
